What time does school start and finish?
Main School
8.45am – 3.15pm
Nursery
12.15pm – 3.15pm
How do I book a Breakfast Club place?
All you need to do is log onto Parent Pay and make an online booking before the session starts. Sessions are £2.50 per child. Payment is collected upon booking.
I need to pick up my child for an appointment
If your child has a medical appointment (e.g. doctor, medical etc.), please take a photo or screen shot of your child’s appointment letter and send to info@elmsleigh.derbyshire.sch.uk. Alternatively, bring this to the school office.
What do I do if my child has headlice?
You do not need to keep your child off school. Please be aware that this is not considered as an authorised absence. Please ensure that you have treated their hair. This can be maintained through regular conditioning and daily combing.
What food is being served at lunch for my child and how much do I have to pay?
The school menu is published on the back of the school newsletter every Friday and is published on our Facebook, website and emailed to you.
School dinners are free to all child in infants phase.
How do I let you know that someone else is collecting my child?
If you are unable to collect your child, please let the school office know before end of school. Due to safeguarding, our staff will not let other parents or friends collect your child if we have not been informed by yourself.
How do I contact my child’s class teacher?
,As our teacher’s will be unavailable during school times teaching, they will only be contactable before and after school. If you need more time to speak with the class teacher, we suggest that you arrange a meeting with the teacher, afterschool at a preferable time.
In case of emergencies, your child’s teacher will be in lesson’s, so they will not be available. Please contact the school office on 01283 216883.
